Not Your Average Plain Rice


1 Cup Rice

2 Cups Water ( more water for Brown Rice)

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

1 teaspoon EPIS

Salt to taste



Rinse rice and drain.

Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat, add EPIS, for 1-2 minutes and add water.

Bring to boil, then add rice.

Reduce heat and cook uncovered until water is absorbed. Turn heat on low, cover and cook for 8-10mns.

Fluff rice with a fork.


Serve as a side dish or enjoy as you would like!
